I have a split 40% because I type for a living and normie keyboards destroy my wrists.

I think you're spot on with "young people dumb". Takes a while to figure out.. like, everything.

Generations will have different strong and\or weak areas because their environment changes, but our sum total of "competence" will stay the same IMHO.

In uncertain times people cling to rules even more. To contrast the insanity of the world with a something familiar. To just "do your job" even when your entire institution has been subverted and twisted. It was like that in Germany, too.

Im a mid with two juniors under me, super happy when they take initiative and do something creative

I'm not huge into drugs, can someone explain to me why a billionaire takes ketamine? Isn't it a prescription painkiller?

Shouldn't he be smoking brainstem of an endangered rainforest frog, or some nameless lab chemical synthesized personally for him?

[-] Maxxie 13 points 3 months ago

Any particular reason why?

Petersburg has no business extending its influence so far north and east, Volga is hoarding all access to the black sea-going river, mashing up Chechnya Dagestan and Ingushetia into a single entity is the instant noodles of ethnic cleansing.

Don't know enough about the eastern parts to comment, but split each chunk into 3 more parts to be sure.

I think those two statements are about two different things: on is about blame, the other is about course of action.

People who voted for fascists got duped/are into fascism, but you still have to convince them to chose otherwise because what is the alternative?

All imported goods will be more expensive. So, like, everything.

Breaking the rules isn't fascism though. Fascism is fascism.

What do you think is a more ethical choice:

a) uphold the law, knowing it will let fascist come to power and kill thousands

a) break the law and stop him

I mean, its free no-authentication VMs. They had to put at least some guards against abuse.
