I printed a case for a small PC that I user as a home server 3 years ago, and I used the cheapest PLA out there. No warping, nothing broke. It is cooled by a single 80mm.

As long as there's enough airflow to prevent the PLA from actually heating up, it will be fine.

Leveling up in Final Fantasy XIV is easy. Just play the story and you'll reach max level by the time you finish it.

These items are intended for players who create an alt and who wish to skip most of the stury if they already played it.

I use multiple materials from multiple brands, so yes, I do some calibration for each filaments.

I usually limit myself to the flow factor by printing a cube in vase mode and then adjust by ±2% after a print if I feel like it is needed.

For the temperatures, I go for the normal recommended values (200°C hot end and 60°C bed for PLA) without any calibration, unless there is a problem. (I think last time I printed one was for ABS because it kept curling up..)

Retraction and Linear advance seems to always give roughly the same value for each type of materials, so I ended up using an average which work well enough.

As a non IT guy, I can say the same. Feels like the ship is sinking.

The head of IT where I work quit on the spot during a meeting with the president of the company because the president wouldn't agree with any security measure IT wanted to put in place because they were too expansive, and also because he was fedup of being micro-managed by someone who's only achievement was being the child of the founder. That was a couple months after being hit with a ransomware that made us lose rougly 10 years of data. (IT had no budget to implement proper backups and everything)

Then the whole IT department left the company the same week.

That was a year ago. They tried hiring new IT staff, they keep leaving because the president still micro-manage them.

Edit : I still work there, I'm not in IT, and I never have to deal with the shenanigans of the president. Only thing that changed as far as I know is that they changed the structure of our file servers, and we are slightly more restricted than before, but we still all have access to way too much files on there and we still all have admin rights on our laptops, so anyone can install anything.

L'autre problème c'est que l'industrie automobile s'en va dans la mauvaise direction à mon avis. Grâce à nos voisins du sud (think big sti!) les petites voitures électriques sont retirées du marché et remplacées par des plus gros modèles. Mais qui dit plus gros modèle dit plus lourd, moins aérodynique, donc à besoin de plus d'énergie, donc d'encore plus grosses batteries!

La première Hyundai Ioniq a été remplacé par la Ioniq 5 qui est quand même plus grosse. La Chevrolet Volt aurait pu être convertie en petite berline full électrique, nope, éléminée! La Chevrolet Bolt, un peu plus haute mais plus courte et toujours loin d'un VUS, remplacée par le Chevrolet Equinox. Ford retire la Focus du marché et met plutôt en vente une version électrique et obèse de la Mustang et un F150 électrique.

J'espère gardé mon VÉ actuel MINIMUM jusqu'en 2030 / 300 000 km, j'espère que d'ici là il y aura d'autres petits modèles, et surtout disponibles dans l'usagé, mais j'en doute.

L'article soulève des questions intéressantes mais l'auteure n'a pas fait une bonne job de journalisme car elle ne répond à aucune de ces questions. C'est presque du "fear mongering".

Hydro-Québec ont fait des recherches ici comparant la production en GES d'un véhicule à essence et d'un véhicule électrique sur toutes leurs durée de vie. Pas un mot là-dessus.

Des données similaires existent aussi pour les centrales électriques au charbon. Je vous invite à aller faire vos recherches mais si ma mémoire est bonne, ça joue sur le fait que le moteur électrique est très efficace comparativement à un moteur à essence, et la centrale au charbon pourrait aussi être plus efficace qu'un moteur de voiture. Donc au final même si le bilan est moins bon (comparativement à l'hydro-électricité), je crois que c'était quand même moins polluant de rouler électrique en bout de ligne.

According to a post on the 3dprinting subreddit that was recommending different budget options, they were not recommending the Ender 3 anymore because QA would have in fact went down like you said. (Their name is made, they can cut cost to increase profits now...)

They were only recommending it if you went for the Ender 3 S1 since it had more features than the base Ender 3 / Pro / V2.

I have an older Ender 3 Pro that I modded quite a bit over the years and would also agree this is more a machine if you want to tinker with it. One important thing to note is that almost no upgrades will result in higher print quality when compared to a well tuned base Ender 3. The mods simply made it a bit more reliable IMO or reduce how often I need to calibration it.

I also agree that if you don't want to tinker with it, get something else. It will be more expensive upfront but if you take a cheaper printer that you mod over time, the cost will end up being similar. But it's a decision hard to make if you are not sure you will like the hobby, and an Ender 3 or other similar budget printer can still be OK without modding if you don't mind the limitations.

And if I were to buy a new printer today, I'd definitely go for something better with more features built in that I wouldn't have to mod to achieve the same functionality.

I think I have seen Crosscode before but never really looked into it. Looks like a great game. Currently 70% off and there's a demo on Steam. Will give it a try tonight!

I have used Lepage / Loctite Super Gel Control with great success on PLA.

Someone in another post suggested Blossom Tales, I'm 2 hours into the first game (which is $4 CAD on sale on Steam) and while it is an obvious Zelda clone, they made some interesting changes and the game is fun.
