There are people that just come online to argue with others and try to make a point no matter what, no matter how rude they are, and no matter how embarrassed they become... Sorry for u. Meanwhile read this article. It seems that you didn't see news about BRICS, Brazil and US sanctions for a while. https://www.economist.com/the-americas/2025/07/24/trumps-astonishing-battering-of-brazil

So, Magnitsky law, and SWIFT blockades are for nothing? Just because it's not explicit on the website, it doesn't mean it's not doing it behind the scenes. That's how economy works... If I buy something from China, my money goes there by SWIFT transactions, which is controlled by US.

That's the magic hand of the market that all talk about...

Well, US companies have the monopoly on credit cards. US imposes SWIFT all around he world. If I buy something on amazon, or alibaba, it will be converted to USD and then to my currency. All commodities, on what my country depends, are rated in USD, even if few sell it to China or Europe... And all of this for what? What is the actual value US is putting into all of this? Its only getting a share on something it has nothing to do. And it just gives US fu**ed up governors the chance to impose sanctions to whoever they want in order to interfere with foreign affairs.

You're maybe right... I'd love to see an alternative currency for international trade though. We're done with US Dollars.

Not yet... At least here se don't see any movement or change yet...

Me diga se vc gostaria de viver hoje na China, Rússia, Índia... Talvez no Irã? Ditaduras declaradas, a tempos! Eu concordou que o BR não pode se vender aos EUA (de novo) mas a alternativa também não é lá muito promissora...

It's crazy how, here in Brazil, we kind of have to chose now if we stay besides USA or China... We hate what Trump is doing to us, but at the same time, our partners in BRICS are not a bed of roses either... It seems the bipolarization of the world is coming to its max now, again, after cold war...

MS is insisting on AI pcs, and saying that mousing and keyboarding will be substituted to chatting to the PC.

I can't help to wonder how will it work on a company, like the one where I work, where you have 30+ people working in the same room with their PCs. It will be madness if every one started talking instead of typing...

Even when do home-office, and sit in the same table as my wife to work. It would be very anoying if both of us where talking nonstop with our computers...

I see a lot of flat mounts where people put a protective acrilic or glass over the dish, or even mount it inside cars under a glass roof. So Im wondering if it would work if I mount it under a solar panel. Solar panels are essentially a thin glass where the diods are assembled. Will those diods interfere with the antena in any way?

I mean, physically, when going upwind with little to no wind, does it worth it turning on the engine and keep the sails close hauled? Does the foward advantage the sails give you compensate the drag, or is it better to just drop the sails all together? What would be faster, or what would use less fuel? Can somebody mathematically demonstrate it?

The dedollarization is a path with no return. The clever ones will join China and the BRICS before the fall. This will be the new global order.

Would someone please recommend me another chromium based open source browser with fingerprint and crosswebsite cookies and tracking protection, in which I could install uBO, that works on PC and Android (and syncs between), that can make webapps, and it's not maintained by 1 or 2 guys? I would happilly switch from brave to get rid of the bloat!

It's fixed now! Thanks for the developers! I use Bravenewpipe, a fork with adblocker, and it's working normally now too.
