Ever since leaving Reddit I have been looking for a place where to discuss my favorite gaming franchise- Dragon Age. But all I saw so far is old mostly dead forums and discord channels. Does anyone know if there is any at least semi-living Dragon Age community? This is probably the only thing I miss.

Yeah, what’s with that NPCs eyes? Is this how they all are going to look? If so, yikes.

The gameplay better be GotY-level of enjoyable to justify that level of jank.

I wasn’t surprised that the J letter is pronounced wrong, it’s not readily apparent unless you have some knowledge of the languges, and I dont blame the (mostly)American devs for going with pronunciation that feels natural to them.

I just wish developers stopped lumping all slavs with Russians when using slavic-inspired elements. Especially when it comes to architecture. Though it was nice seeing some Czech and Polish inspired names in game.

Morrowind feels like returning home, every time.

Does this mean that Reddit is now responsible for any illegal content on it?

Virtually all free to play games are. The most popular are designed in a way to lure you in with freebies and gameplay that tickles you lizard brain in a pleasant way. Then, when you are invested enough, they annoy you with waiting times and artifical speed bumps just enough to make you spend bucks in their cash shop but not enough to stop playing. These games are basically slot machines masquerading as a game, where the only goal is to milk you dry of your income.

Thank god Kbin allows to block an entire instance. Although I’d prefer if the fediverse collectively defederated from them.

There was that one guy on the Rogue sub-forums spamming and demanding they unnerf his Twisted Blades build. He even had a catchphrase, like “reFun or reFund”. Unintentionally hilarious.

I wanted to get some tips on Rogue and hopefully some build ideas, and holy Tyrael, is that place a cesspool of toxicity. If you havent played the game, from the opinions of the locals you’d had thought this game is the worst thing since WW2, every class is basically unplayable and unless you can steamroll bosses 20+ higher than you in nightmare dungeons, your opinion is basically worthless. Any interesting discussion gets swamped by trolls and unconstructive spiteful comments. I had to stop going there because I felt it actually impacted my enjoyment of the game.

Anyone else had the same experience with the official forums?

Orange cats are the biggest goofballs.

Stargate was such huge part of my childhood! To this day I remember almost every episode of the original SG1. Atlantis ran on cable which we did not have, so the first time I saw it was later on in my adulthood. Sure, Star Wars, Star Trek, Expanse and BG are all great, but man, SG1 will always be my absolute fave.

Honorable mention goes to Farscape - what a ride that show was!

It is disappointing, but it was to be expected. We’ll see what happens after the changes come online and their userbase finds themselves stuck with official app.

As for me, a redditor for almost 9 years, I am not planning to return anytime soon. Right now Im on Kbin and it reminds me so much of old school Reddit. Well, except the whole federated instances thing.
