I'm actually surprised that the satanic temple isn't pushing for him to be charged with some kind of hate crime. Pretty sure if so decapitated a statue of Jesus it wouldn't just be destruction of property?

Is it just me, or did snacking get really expensive? I'm more amazed how people are allowing companies to fleece them like that. And then there are the sugar drinks for adults, brought to you by Starbucks & co.

That sounds cool... Wish the article said what it does.

I cannot tell you how many towels the average person uses, or what the distribution is. Though it's probably less than 4. What I can say is that it doesn't hurt anybody, so if it feels good for you, just do it. That's the nice thing about being an adult, you can do what you want.

I would note though that it's probably much more important how often you change and wash your towels than how many you use.

If only we could do something about this problem which got inexplicably worse when we worsened regulations and working conditions...

Lenovo/Thinkpad will certify certain models for use with Linux, other brands sell Linux laptops. Those are obviously good indicators that those models should be safe to choose. More generally, the more popular a model is, and the longer it's been on the market the more likely they are to be compatible, just because they are in people's hands and people tinker with them and add stuff to the Linux Kernel. So stay away from the latest model that is uncertified, and don't choose the flashy, overpriced model that will see poor sales.

I thought the scripture was quite clear with that whole "Thou shalt not kill" part...

"In each round Tuesday, the lowest vote-getter will be eliminated until a single candidate secures a simple majority of those in the room."

Ranked choice, how progressive ?!

I remember the first mission of hotline Miami. You take the phone call and learn that you are supposed to kill some people. You learn how to use your guns. You kill a bunch of baddies, quite badass. Then at the end of the mission, the screen starts swaying more than usually, and the protagonist vomits in an alley. Of course, he just killed for the first time, overwhelming. Makes him quite human, more than many other protagonists, despite the pixel art style.

Definitely posting the Sept 2 assessment. On my end. If it's bugged again, I may report that as a bug to the devs.

Edit: ok, I figured out what the problem is.

Ironically, Musk also wanted us to believe that 50% of those were bots just a couple months ago...

We should remove all those laws barring children working in mines, because common sense is that mining companies would not employ children... You are conflating two issues here. What the world ought to do, and what is really happening. Folks in Texas are struggling in the sun, and we ought to give them any tool we can do they can fight back.
