Interesting, according to the map, south Asia's got an inverse progressiveness on gender change vs homosexuality to most of the world.

In Pakistan, the map says enbies are recognized and gender change is legal with no restrictions like for minors, medical diagnosis, surgery, etc. However, if you have gay sex, you get thrown in prison for up to life.

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

The John Oliver video goes through your concerns and talks about how:

a. most trans athletes haven't been winning big, ppl with an agenda have been twisting facts to make it seem like they have.

b. a blanket ban is not the answer, but each sport competition making their own rules based on how many years of hrt the athlete has been on, how much of a difference sex makes for that sport, etc. Which is what was happening for years.

c. There are much bigger and more common issues with women's sports that we need to address like coaches assaulting athletes, lack of resources compared to male teams, etc. And the same ppl claiming to protect women's sports by banning trans athletes are voting against measures to fix these issues.

As a south asian american large cities in red states are usually fine for racial discrimination. There are suburbs in places like Dallas where every other person is asian.

I have been on roadtrips through rural areas, including ones with Chinese American friends, and have felt unsafe at many gas stations though. We try to get gas and get going as quick as possible at the more sketch locations. We only go inside for bathrooms at large well lit gas stations with plenty of cameras.
