There's an air and space museum near where I grew up that has a real SR-71, and one time when I was visiting, one of the old pilots happened to be there and he gave my girlfriend and I an up-close tour of it. He showed us where him and his buddies signed it and put handprints on the underside. Very fascinating experience.

No, you’re NOT a real arcanist.

I’m so sick of all these people that think they’re arcanists. No, you’re not. Most of you are not even close to being arcanists. I see these people saying “I know like 3 cantrips, it’s great!” THAT'S NOTHING, most of us can easily cast at least 6 different cantrips. I see people who can only cast up to 5th level and claim to be arcanists. Come talk to me when you can cast Disintegrate, then we can be friends.

Also DEAR ALL BARDS: Vicious Mockery is not a real spell. Tasha's Hideous Laughter is not a real spell. Nathair's Mischief is not a real spell. Faerie Fire is not a real spell. Friends is not a real spell. Enchantment spells are NOT.REAL.SPELLS. stop using the baby spells and use something that actually does damage for once.

Sincerely, all of the ACTUAL arcanists.

part of what i love about orcbarbies' artstyle and worldbuilding. she makes hella spicy stuff, but it's consistent within her world, and each race (primarily orcs and goblins) has its own unique gender characteristics. also they're all hot as fuck.

i wouldn't really describe the characters as androgynous, but they do stand outside traditional gender norms.

It is surprisingly difficult to admit when you were wrong when doing so means you're severing yourself from the community you're a part of, and you stand to lose friends, family, or even your own identity from a simple change in ideology or a realization of one's own mistakes. It's how cults trap people (because maga is a cult, of sorts,) and it's how people get trapped in abusive relationships. It's easier to brush off evidence and morality as lies or whatever when you stand to lose much more than an argument if you admit you're wrong.

It's a toxic cycle that maga, like all cults, preys upon. Cognitive dissonance is surprisingly hard to overcome when you have so many voices telling you to remain complacent.

As for it being some grand soul cleansing or whatever, I doubt people would buy it if that's what they're trying to portray it as, but it is better than nothing. In my opinion, the more people we have leaving maga and the more we normalize, perhaps even reward overcoming cognitive dissonance, the better.

My Uncle Winky used to own a bar in Gay called the Gay Bar. It's still there, although under different management. I literally went there this morning because I'm on vacation in Keweenaw, they have some raunchy-ass merch.
