I had to drive to and from an appointment twice today (drop off and pick up)(not a school) and I faced like... A dozen moments of aggression from other drivers. From being cut off, to being blocked from merging. Some dangerous, others harmless. Just a dozen pointless but intentionally rude moments. Usually I'm getting tailed on the road by huge trucks with bright lights, but today I was spared from that, so that's kne thing to be grateful for. Fuck cars. I'm so done with driving, I haven't been doing it for a decade yet and I'm exhausted with it.

Hey, I'm 26 and I'm playing PoE for the first time. I tried it for a few levels with a friend a decade ago, and clearly didn't like it as much as he did.

I've seen some streamers from other games try out POE and often love it, get too into it, and get burnt out. Or figure out all the secrets, metagame it and get bored etc. I suspect it will take me a long time to learn all of that stuff.

I'm starting in Ancestor League (patch 3.22?) Leveling up a Witch that's meant to be an Elementalist... Maw of Mischief? Hard to keep it all clear. I ignored a lot of the build advice due to plain ignorance and I mostly have fire spells. I'm thinking about restarting but I read there's a Library quest at the end of Act 3 that would give me access to all the spells I mistakenly didn't choose for my build. 😅

Life is a bit hectic right now and POE is incredibly relaxing so far, so I hope I can keep it up and take my shallow and slow dive into this game and the wider genre, since I have the most hours in... FPS games. And WoW, years ago. I am just plain foreign to RPGs and that fresh and new discovery is like candy for my brain. 😋

I bought an Optiplex 3080 SFF and bought upgrade parts for it but now it isn't running and I don't have enough troubleshooting skills to tell if the MOBO is dead or if the power button is dead. 😅

I can potentially shoot the ebay seller message to beg for product support.

I had it running with upgrade parts in for about 10 seconds and I held the power button to force it off. I assume I had it running once or twice before then, with the original configuration, too. It ran immediately after the "releasing extra power" trick where you unplug it and take out the CMOS battery and then hold the power button for ~15 seconds. Then put it back the way it was and close the case.

• Using non-original power cord
• PSU seems to pass BIST (no button, the light turns green for a few seconds and turns off when the power cord is plugged in)
• Have original parts and upgrade parts, can take out or swap out RAM, storage.

CMOS battery replacement? I have never done motherboard troubleshooting.

UPDATE: Edit: Yes it was simply the CMOS Battery. Popped a new 3V 2032 in there and the thing is running just fine with the original hardware.

Second Update: I contacted the eBay seller and they had notes for me about how to troubleshoot it that were identical to that of this community. The seller was insanely helpful, as were the comments I received here!
