"We innocent" was cropped out and I kinda liked how it originally said I'm innocent but they changed it to We Innocent.

I want to switch to jellyfin, I selfhost but I don't want to open a port directly to my server. I don't understand how everyone else figures this out and I'm apparently an idiot.

Also do people expect all who use my server to start a VPN each time? What if they leave it on and their other streaming services are using my bandwidth.

I don't understand and I have looked it up but I don't see a consensus.

This comment is for a very niche audience but Lieutenant Malcolm Reed would enjoy this meme and also the pineapple.

I get that it's always been like that, it just shouldn't be. Whether you believe it's okay or not is totally an opinion and it's fine. I've used sync alone for as long as it's been around basically.

Just switched recently to Thunder. It's a bit slower but has a lot of options. Its working fine... And this is from a person who has been many times over the years and is currently paying for sync.

Sync is more reddit than reddit was. And is my Lemmy experience up until a few days ago.

I try to always remember People, process and product. PPP. It helps remind me that the people are just like you and I, families and waking up each day to do a job. It's so easy for things to fall apart when there aren't the right tools or processes in place. My failures individually or as a team never left someone in outer space but I've had some doozies in my career.

This isn't addressing your comment but I guess it was on my mind. I do know that the majority of people want to do their best and I feel bad for them and those affected by a company's poor decisions.

Curiosity got the better of me and I did try to video link in the article but it's dead.

Edit: found it, nothing to see, potato quality and for all I know it could be literally anyone.

I do not still wear a mask, but I really loved having my face covered when I went places during covid. I just felt free. I don't know why as I don't have a problem going anywhere or doing anything normally, but covering my face felt good (except on 100 degree days in summer).

I'm a fan of Dune and this always made me laugh.

It doesn't have to be perfect, I still watch all of trek even if some series aren't as fun to me as others.

It's a huge universe with unlimited stories. Find some likeable characters and let them save the day. I don't need a "perfect show".

The headline is click bait imo but the article makes a somewhat valid point about the larger use of animal products in everything. The article lists paper money in the UK as an example so a vegan is essentially unable to use paper money without conflicting with their ideals.

I would say the point of articles like this is a reasonable way to bring awareness of how ubiquitous animal products are in everyday items.

I think it's a valid topic with a headline written by marketing (and their 696 "partners") and an article written by someone with a point to make.

At the end of the day, everything is just atoms moving at different wiggle rates, that's the technical term. It doesn't matter what makes them wiggle faster or slower.

My Garmin Fenix watch, it was during the first month of wearing it that I realized my life and fitness can be like a video game and I get badges and points for doing things. It drives me to move and even after 4 years, it still is making me motivated.

A nice wallet, I looked for a long time and ended up with a Trayvax wallet. I just love the damn thing, it'll last me forever and it's unique and functional. Each time I pull it out of my pocket, I appreciate it's look and feel and form.

My osprey back pack. I've carried it to and from work, on boats, kayaks, walking, for camping and to my friends houses. It is just so functional and comfortable in a way that a less expensive one isn't. It's made to be comfortable AND hold things.
