Can't argue with that logic.

I've seen a documentary about a train making a year long route around the entire world during ice age and it was still able to break though the ice. This is just bad engineering.

Because they are stealing money from the rest of Spain and work to worsen the lives of people in other regions for their own benefit. I'm not gong to support that by giving them money.

Finally. Fine the fuckers till the fuckers ain't fine.

I've notices recently disposable vapes. Why does this even exists? No one asked for it, no one needs it. In EU the law says that the manufacturer is responsible for recycling this shit but obviously most single use vapes with their lithium battery will simply end up on the landfill. Again, it's just some capitalist asshole ignoring the environmental impact of their product for profit and shifting the responsibility on the consumer. This shit has to end but as of today even EU doesn't care and allows this. It's infuriating.

I'm an OSM editor and I don't want to go to jail because I made a mistake when drawing a building and some idiot drove into a wall.

Lemmy is the first place I heard about changing distro to change DE. Just install the other DE.

Exactly what's going on in Spain. And if it's your main place of residence it's legal.

Orange. Wanted to connect internet in an apartment. One guy came over and said the external line is fine and nothing needs to be done. Guy from Orange came over to actually connect the internet and says the external line is not installed correctly. Next it was a month of constant

  • Hi, I still don't have internet installed
  • My system tells me it's connected.
  • It's not
  • Ok. I will open a report. We have 3 working days to resolve it.

3 days later:

  • Hi, I still don't have internet installed...

At some point guy tells me that "Ok, now I see the issue. This time it will be fixed for sure." I tell him that I've been told that many times already and he gets pissy, "I said it will be solved and it will be solved". Ok, I hang up and instantly get a text saying that the ticket was resolved and closed. I called them again and in fact, the report was automatically closed because according to the system my internet is already connected...

After a month I said I want to cancel the service since they are not able to connect it and they charged for cancelling early. I never paid, the debt was sold somewhere, got a call or two threatening to put me on some list but nothing happened.
