Considering you can turn off telemetry and never need to connect it to the internet after activation, I'm assuming that - like how Adobe uses cheap education licenses to on-ramp people onto their platform - this is largely intended to drive professionals towards Canva and their various other products. They take a loss on this product to become the de-facto standard image/vector/publishing application.

I've experienced both sides, and there is definitely a different quality to the attraction and horny-ness. It's hard to put my finger on or describe in a way that isn't a cliche like "aggressive" and "raw". It's less romantic? It fills your mind a little, it's impulsive, it doesn't have the same yearning. At least for me.

For what it's worth I prefer my attraction and sex now as a woman. Not to act as an internet doctor, but I definitely felt a bit like you when my testosterone was too low. All women have testosterone and having the wrong amount can affect sexual desire - it might be worth having yours checked.

I think supporters of Israels actions don't see genocide itself as inherently wrong, but more that some of the people victimized by the Holocaust were wrongly targeted. This one is against the "right" people.

Also fun fact I can tell that Medicare (Australias one) definitely doesn't distinguish between trans and cis women because the week after I changed my name/gender I received a letter telling my I was due to get my cervix checked lol

I live in Australia, so YMMV, but for me, the things I needed to update were:

  • Government/their services and programs, local and federal
  • Medical things (insurance,, doctors, etc)
  • Banks/Financial Institutions (I don't know how a 401k works, but that probably is included)
  • Insurance
  • Car registration
  • Identity documents
  • Wills, if you have one
  • Company registrations, if you have one

Beyond that legal obligation, there is no one you have to tell if you don't feel comfortable. I took the opportunity of legally changing my name to finally come out in the rest of my life (work and uni), but you don't have to.

Maybe a hot take, but I actually think individual progressive taxes are great. Have a generous tax free threshold, but individual taxes stops excessive wealth hoarding and (in the case of inheritance tax) dynasties

Not every change is going to completely overhaul the app. More than likely, the changes are a fix to some obscure bug not caught in testing that only affects a small percentage of devices. Just because you don't encounter it with your workflow and device doesn't mean it isn't a critical bug preventing someone from using the app. It could also be a new feature targeting a different use case to yours. It could even be as simple as bringing the app into compliance with new platform requirements or government regulations (which can happen a couple times a year, for example Android often bumps the minimum SDK target such that apps are forced to comply with new privacy improvements).

I'm very skeptical that the data Alexa collects is anywhere near as valuable as people seem to believe it is.

I thought of the name Emily randomly one day in high school. It felt important, although I didn't know why, so I filed it away in my brain somewhere. Three years later I suddenly figured out why 😅. As a fun fact, it turns out that Emily was the name my parents would have given me had I been a girl, so I'm gonna call it fate.

When I was looking a couple years ago Ubuntu Touch was by far the most developed and stable. Primarily because Canonical poured millions of dollars into its development before giving it up and dropping it, but the community has gone a long way to make it what it is today.

Probably not a popular choice on this community though.

At some point in high school, before I was even considering that I might be trans, I just thought about how it was a cute name. It stuck in my head for a reason I couldn't figure out for like 4 years after that, until the reason slapped itself in my face and I started transitioning.
