Me too! Most people don't get it, which is unfortunate. I'm glad to know there are others out there.

Ugh. They're really ruining that series.

This has big soviergn citizen energy. "Say these magic legal words and they have to pay your bill".

It is carcinogenic if you have more than two sodas in a week, but who would ever want to do that!

Don't call them that. They're just assholes with too much money.

I call them the billionaire class. It has the added bonus that it makes it painfully obvious to suburbanites that they aren't part of the club.

I mean yes, absolutely. Figured that one out with weed lol. But that doesn't mean I haven't hurt people I care about or said some truly ghoulish things. It won't matter after I've died but that hasn't happened yet :)

Since my life has no meaning, my life means whatever I want it to mean, and that paradoxically gives my life a lot of meaning.

I was raised in a deeply conservative catholic home and as a result was super racist and homophobic. I ditched the religion and grew a lot as a person, and I'm proud of that growth but damn it feels bad that I was ever that person. I'm also fortunate to not be extremely autistic and I was able to get a handle on my emotional outbursts (for the most part) and sort of bring myself under control. I can't help but wonder what life might have been like if I was able to develop like a normal person sometimes. I try not to dwell on it, but it feel like I'm 10 years behind my peers emotionally.

Well honestly I have never been able to acquire shrooms, but I could write a book about all the horrible shameful shit I've done in my life without realizing it at the time. It keeps me up at night sometimes.

Yes this works but not with flatpak steam unfortunately.

Its just a part in the equation where you're dividing by zero, that's all. We know you cant divide by zero, so it means our theories are incomplete.

The gravastar theory is notable (IMO) because it does away with the singularity. Although, it seems like this theory is borderline unfalsifiable, since any way you could detect a gravastar would also be insistinguishable from a black hole.

Personally, I am of the (completely unsubstantiated) opinion that black holes create universes (somehow) because it is a simple, succinct answer to many questions. So, any theory that takes that seriously would be worth further research, imo. But until there is some kind of observational evidence, I think this is just relegated to the realm of "that's a neat thing that math can do".

An eagle. But I'd take human again. This go around has been pretty rad, overall.

I am NOT writing a database connector unless you add an additional three months to your projects expectations.

I am NOT writing an LDAP connector.

I am NOT writing code to execute shell processes safely.

And I'm sure as hell not writing an XML parser just so I can say I did it without libraries.

JS devs that import libraries for every stupid thing (lpad comes to mind) are bad programmers, but libraries are useful and have their place.

And if my boss doesn't want me using those libraries, they need to specify that in advance or there needs to be a company policy to that effect. Otherwise, I'm solving the problem my way since that's what I'm getting paid to do.
