It would have to be super old. My 2015 and ‘16 iOS devices were fine. The only thing I had to remove was my 2010 white MacBook (which I just keep around to run home media anyway).
It’s not automatically on, but after the update it pops up on your screen telling you it is now available and asking if you want to opt in or not.
That’s why my aunt and uncle finally got iPhones. They were missing out on iMessage and FaceTime with the grandkids and rest of the family making plans.
I just signed up after lurking for a while. So far it’s very limited compared to Reddit and if not for the loss of Apollo I wouldn’t be here. But I’m using an app that looks and acts like Apollo (Voyager) so it feels like Reddit did for years.
I can watch children be bombed all day, but if the dog dies in a movie I’m gonna a be really sad and upset
You have to remain underway so if you can afford the fuel and maintenance, you can pretty much do whatever you want as long as you can defend yourself from hijackers.
If you try to anchor anywhere, you are going to be harassed or attacked by local militaries even if you’re in international waters.
I don’t even like having to dry off after a shower. It’s easier to put on boxers and air dry mostly after first patting yourself down. It seems to be a difference in ritual as much as grooming. Dudes don’t worry about their skin getting dry or hair splitting because the harshness of their lives or clothing keeps they’re dry skin exfoliated enough and they trim their hair before ends become a problem so they don’t have high maintenance hairstyles.
We don’t have to do as much preventative maintenance because we don’t worry about doing things daily
According to my state constitution only Christians are allowed to hold office (ineffectualised by the 14th amendment, but it’s still there)
So I guess fuck people who use static images as screensavers
There is absolutely no reason they can’t pass a federal law and then still allow states to have a more restrictive law. It is stupid to add a preemption barring more stringent laws.
But really no laws are strict enough against data harvesting companies.
