Yeah, that's fair
It might have evolved, but Mussolini's fascists initially made their money being hired thugs for the wealthy and industrialists who wanted to directly attack and scupper organising workers.
Similar in Nazi Germany with the Brownshirts iirc.
I guess under Neoliberalism you can kind of just skip the street gangs and use cops to attack unionists, so it's a different set of material conditions these days but the patterns are there.
No argument here - I'm earnestly just scared at this point we aren't going to collectively evolve beyond our cultural fetish for greed before we turn the/our planet into an open air mausoleum.
Consider my previous comment thinly veiled grief, tbh.
Well that's my faith in the colony just a fraction more diminished.
Which, to be fair to them - everything is, you know? Nothing is really absent of politics because nothing is really absent of us.
Egg behaviour, lol
I've wanted to start with RSS for a while now - how did you get started, practically speaking? Any resources that helped you set yourself up comfortably/learn the ins-and-outs?
That sounds like something a bot would say...
A little bit of side context around PA-Israeli collaborationism for anyone just rolling through:
"Popular discontent with the PA, which cooperates with Israel on security, has been simmering in Jenin. Crowds last week heckled several visiting top officials of Abbas's Fatah party, including deputy chairman Mahmoud Aloul.
On Wednesday, Abbas expressed determination to back Jenin's reconstruction and security, describing the camp as an "icon of steadfastness and struggle", in a short address to cheering supporters.
"We have come to say that we are one authority, one state, one law," Abbas said, warning against anyone who "tampers with the unity and security of our people".
...
Abbas used his speech to issue a veiled threat at armed groups "undermining" Palestinian security.
"There will be one authority and one security force. Anyone who seeks to undermine its unity and security will face the consequences. Any hand that reaches out to harm the people and their stability shall be cut off," he said."

I didn't know the Palestinian Authority was collaborationist - or that Jenin was a refugee camp for people displaced after the Nakba/Israel was created.
Thanks, this was good to read.
Meanwhile, throughout occupied Palestine...
Fuck that noise. Do something about it now. Unmake a pipeline. Blockade a coal port. Fight, for fucks sake. We don't get to undo this.
