Hi, you can believe what you want to believe, but I wish I pursued care when I was younger (began questioning at the onset of puberty) rather than transitioning at 25.

The most commonly used model is puberty blockers with parental consent up until 16 and then HRT only with parental consent at 16.

Forcing a child to undergo a puberty that they do not want, is cruel!

Children do not choose to transition because they think it's cool to do so. They still get bullied for it. At least set them up to have a more stable adulthood.

Overlooking the whole child slave labor thing, yeah I suppose so

No and even if there was, algorithmic price fixing leads the way. There is no free market force in insurance

As a trans woman, the look on someone's face when I said there were at least 9 variations on the 23rd pair is always priceless. It doesn't matter if having one of those variations is irrelevant to being trans, it shuts down their sixth grade understanding of biology and sex determination.

Yes I had the discussion with someone who I thought was better than this today.

Absolutely, though there tends to be a lot more visibility, and potential for harm. Not to understate the harm done during the aids crisis. I could maybe be scared back into the closet ~~jk death before detransition~~, but transphobia harms cis women too. I shouldn't know several people who have had to flee their home states due to Republican led legislation, but I do. I shouldn't know people who lost access to their medication, some people who need it post GRS, but I do.

There's a LOT to be said about the subject. My existence shouldnt fall on party lines, but here we are.

Genuinely I'll give Michaelsoft credit on skipping 9, they did that to avoid SEO poisoning windows 9x variants.

I'm gonna have to take the strong stance of this not being a case of language evolving.

I know so many great people in Texas who feel powerless. It's sad

And yet so, so common

I've already seen people calling for arms restrictions for anyone undergoing any form of GAC.

I'm starting a new job and was told that they'll want a picture of me and a short intro to send company wide. I will throw a fit about that.

The company I'm leaving also wants a short video from me to wish someone well on their retirement. Not going to be happening.
