The gay Republican I know is also deep in denial. Sad to see in all honesty

The propaganda works though. People outside of the US struggle to see, and believe that the US has its own damning problems. 2 years ago I got close to a Romanian bartender while traveling. She told me about how she held scorn for her sister, who moved to the US despite having been warned against it.

What happened to her sister is what so many of us are victims of. Debt trapping, stalled wages, poor access to medical care and financial incentive to not seek care. Not to mention the poor quality food that wears you down.

As a result, she has had to send money to both her sister and Mom, and had to cancel several contract terms and vacation seasons off to care for her Mother. Her sister couldn't help due to being in debt, and at risk of losing her job if she were to travel, regardless of the emergency.

It's a cruel system that bundles up as an image of living free. The marginally higher standard of living has a lot of cracks, but they're hard to see until you're living with them.

I have had to help so many end users with that it pains me.

"How can I stop this from happening again?"

Well, we can disable.other audio devices, but seeing as it's Windows 11 they may just re-enable good luck!

I ran into a user who's noise cancellation stopped working upon the rollout of "New" Teams. Tried diagnosing the microphone array, settings updates, firmware. No luck.

Know what worked? Both versions of browser based Teams!!! Ihatethemihatethemihatethem

Genuinely. Proton expanding is a good thing in my eyes at least in this stage. They offer their services at a pretty hefty, but reasonable price compared to others, and don't have a free offering for certain things they run. Their incentive to operate is continuing what they were built on and getting better.

It's also already happening. Waymo admitted to needing wayyyy more manual interventions than they let on

I love going to Entra (azure), the authentication manager (admin, legacy and Entra), the defender dashboard for DLP, wait no compliance, and then uh, what license do I need for this? It's a NIGHTMARE navigating their depreciated shit. Absolutely unreal

And yet, there is very little overlap

Unfortunately trans people are in the early stages of being targeted with genocidal intent. Scary times for us.

They actually have, be it the Inuit people, Native Americans, Greeks, Scandinavians, Romans, Indians, Japanese, Pacific Islanders, and likely many more. Phytoestrogens from soy and BPA plastics are not metabolized in a way that carries any feminizing effects, though can aggravate hormonal cancers. If you haven't watched Oki's series on the atrazine studies they're fantastic. He interviews the scientist behind a lot of the research and talks on how Alex Jone's undermined the research's public image.

That being said, while I appreciate the sentiment of "dress how ya want" and I truly believe you're genuine in saying that. Plenty of those who say that do not mean it though, and will be the first to throw stones. Which is why I ask you have just a little compassion on the matter. I know some people can be a lot. But most are just trying to get by, just like you and I.

Trans people have always existed and weren't even on people's radar until we became the focus of a "culture war". This is something I denied and battled internally for 15+ years before I decided to actually pursue it; I am markedly less passable as a result, but that's what the "rational" transphobes want right? Wait until you're a fully developed adult before making that choice? I did. My voice might be on the deep end of things, but I get gendered correctly in public by total strangers. So while I appreciate my life being called a trend, I can assure you it's not.

Now, while I worry about my personal safety by way of being hate crimed in public due to some shitty rhetoric; you can keep posting about getting "bullied" online. Hope this clears things up <3

You poor thing

Oh hey that was me for over 15 years!

I'm transfem now and happier than I've ever been.

With all of that being said, feel things out. Gender isn't a race to a goal, it's who you are and what that means for you. It took 3 separate personality crises before working through the fear and anxiety of it all. Even if you're just cis, what's important is that you get to be yourself.
