transfemscience.org is great for this stuff
YES, thankyou!! I completely forgot about this site.
Most people I know, self included, take 4-6mg daily as prescribed
I take 8mg daily, 4mg in the morning 4mg at night. I'm not sure how that compares with other people's dosages, though.
Thanks!
I was completely lost before :P
As others have said, you'll likely land somewhere between 4-6 mg a day. How you space it out will largely be up to you, as I took 6 mg a day; I was taking 2mg 3x a day. Once in the morning, once after work, and once before bed. With 50mg of spiro thrown in. I could probably do without the spiro now to be honest.
My levels were:
2mg a day: 68 pg/ml
4mg a day: 146 pg/ml
6mg a day: 282 pg/ml
I was asked to bump down my dose to 5mg since it was so high at my last test. So I'm taking 5mg a day now.
ooh thanks! What's your experience with Spiro? I'm only Finasteride and Oestrogen atm
It's be totally fine for me. I only take 50mg so it's about the lowest dose you can be given. Stepping up the estradiol tablets at the 3 month and 6 month mark. I'm predisposed to hypertension so it helped with that and let me worry less about sodium intake. But I'll probably be moving off of it soon. I actually got a call earlier today and the idea of injections came up
Right now I take 2 mg in the morning and another 2 mg at night. My estradiol is at 89 pg/mL and my doctor is considering putting me up another 2 mg. I have some mood issues which I made a post about here the other week which is why I am holding off on the dosage increase for now.
what are patches? do you just apply square pads around certain body parts?
Pretty much.
weird. neat too, thanks
