Not sure why anon thinks girl puberty isn't its own unique piece of hellish suffering.

Anon is either an egg, or baiting eggs

[-] samus12345@lemmy.world 33 points 1 year ago
[-] ICastFist@programming.dev 7 points 1 year ago

Idiot here, what's egg supposed to mean in this context?

[-] samus12345@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago

An egg is a person who's trans but doesn't know it yet.

[-] SharkEatingBreakfast@sopuli.xyz 6 points 1 year ago

Ahh, you're right. I forget where I am sometimes.

[-] DudeDudenson@lemmings.world 58 points 1 year ago

Because anon was a 14 year old boy who was incapable of seeing things from a perspective that was not his own

[-] cobra89@beehaw.org 33 points 1 year ago

Lol yeah, as a guy I am so happy I wasn't judged by the size of visible appendages on my chest. The occasional boner is whatever, tuck and go on with your day.

Also bleeding from your crotch and possibly showing blood stains? Let's not pretend like girls don't have it way worse. Cramps, worried about getting pregnant, etc. etc.

[-] doggle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 18 points 1 year ago

I mean, it's 4Chan so that's a pretty safe bet, but they didn't actually say that girls have it any easier...

[-] SharkEatingBreakfast@sopuli.xyz 20 points 1 year ago

Puberty sucks for errbody.

while the girls still look pretty

HA!!!! I wish it worked like that for girls!

[-] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

Yeah I’ve never met a person who thought puberty was nice and pleasant. I’ve done it twice and there’s a bad version, a worse version, and a mixed good and bad version. And you only get the mixed one if you start with the worse one.

Probably not too familiar with it

[-] reverendsteveii@lemm.ee 14 points 1 year ago

why anon thinks girl puberty isn’t its own unique piece of hellish suffering

because anon isn't going to go through girl puberty until he integrates the whole "attracted to a female version of myself" thing

[-] RickyRigatoni@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 year ago

Because anon is speaking about his own experiences being a boy going through puberty.

[-] EuroNutellaMan@lemmy.world 85 points 1 year ago
[-] Caligvla@lemmy.dbzer0.com 14 points 1 year ago

Ah yes, because not wanting to look like an ogre means you have gender dysphoria or whatever the kids call it nowadays.

[-] Zoomboingding@lemmy.world 65 points 1 year ago

If you think "aroused by the idea of a female version of yourself" is typical... I have news for you

[-] Rolder@reddthat.com 13 points 1 year ago

I dunno, some men just want to be on bottom and that’s an easy way to visualize it.

[-] Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 8 points 1 year ago

Why would that mean they are trans?

[-] Caligvla@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 year ago
[-] Pregnenolone@lemmy.world 14 points 1 year ago
[-] Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago

*falls down on a bike*

HEY THIS GUY IS AN EGG

[-] Zoomboingding@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

That's exactly the point: the text is textbook

[-] doggle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 25 points 1 year ago

No, but thinking that most men look like ogres (including oneself) coupled with the apparent fixation on gender and it's easy to see how people would come to that conclusion.

gender dysphoria or whatever the kids call it nowadays

You knew what 'egg' refers to in this context, but you're unsure if 'gender dysphoria' is appropriate terminology? That's simultaneously specifically knowledgeable and also totally clueless.

[-] OurToothbrush@lemmy.ml 19 points 1 year ago

I dont think most men consider the way they look to be ogre-ish.

[-] Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago

Not being happy with how you look doesn't mean you're trans lol

[-] OurToothbrush@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago

No but not being happy with how you look in that particular way reads kinda trans.

When I was growing up I had massive self image problems and I was too ashamed to talk about it since it was considered a girl's problem. It's nice to see we've become more extreme on that. This is why feminism and trans people are at odds so often. Feminists want to remove the concept of gender roles from people's minds while trans people literally think gender roles are more innate to a person than their DNA. Even mental illness is a gender role now.

[-] EuroNutellaMan@lemmy.world 11 points 1 year ago

OP gets aroused by the idea of a female version of himself.

That's egg-talk.

[-] wizardbeard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 1 year ago

I thought trans people were trying to distance themselves from the label of autogynephelia.

[-] OurToothbrush@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago

No, we're saying the pathologization of the sexual component of gender is nonsense because everyone does it.

[-] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

Thinking you look like an ogre because of the effects of testosterone on your body is a form of gender dysphoria.

[-] alekwithak@lemmy.world 53 points 1 year ago

make it so they get aroused at the idea of a female version of themselves

Hol up

[-] Demographics 21 points 1 year ago

It's a cannon event, we can't interfere.

[-] OurToothbrush@lemmy.ml 40 points 1 year ago

Narrator voice: anon was trans

[-] kandoh@reddthat.com 23 points 1 year ago

They've convinced me, mandatory puberty blockers until you're an adult and can handle it.

[-] unnecessarygoat@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago
[-] LwL@lemmy.world 10 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

No, because they cause plenty of lasting damage.

Given that apparently only very few kids that get puberty blockers bc of gender dysphoria actually decide to not transition, we should probably lower the time that even trans kids get them for by a lot and just let them go through the puberty they want already.

[-] SuddenDownpour@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago

No, because they cause plenty of lasting damage

Source?

[-] reverendsteveii@lemm.ee 16 points 1 year ago

not everyone has post-nut clarity. some of us don't hate ourselves, so we get off and then feel fine.

[-] NoIWontPickaName@kbin.social 16 points 1 year ago

You should x-post to 196, I think they would like it.
