Switched to dual booting bazzite, after a trial period basically the only things I keep windows for now is tarkov and apex legends, everything else I play is Linux capable, and I don’t do anything professional on windows anymore.

Glad I began replacing windows as much as possible with Bazzite. It has had it snags but this and the gdid obscenity has really been worth dodging.
Happily using Linux at home. Played some elden ring today, and the original fallout last week. Did some writing in libre office. It's fine. And free. I never have to tinker with it.
Hey, try out OnlyOffice if you need something that can handle word docs that have style/layout breakage. It's also open source and most distros have it in their repo. It feels like a well polished piece of software.

The average Windows users isn't making the OS decision at all. They're told by their boss that the company uses Windows and they're given a Windows laptop.
When they get that laptop they sign something with fine print that tells them not to mess with the OS or they'll get fired.
How do those suckers support themselves or their families when they get fired for violating the corporate IT policy?
I’m an EE at a major electronics developer and manufacturer. My company’s IT encourages Linux use and even gives us the option to decide what distribution to install, though RHEL is the only one they “officially” provide tech support for. I’ve been running Debian as my daily driver for several years.
I’m rambling and completely missed the point of your comment. I’m just happy we have that option and wish they supported it everywhere.
It is why developers gravitate to macOS, you can’t work at most large companies and use Linux

I spent some time this week working on a script remediation to remove OneDrive photos from my orgs devices. I went to test it, and it reported a success without the need for remediation. I checked around, and it looks like Microsoft has started removing it from our devices. Not a sniff of any acknowledgement from them, though.
I wish I still had a computer. Windows can suck my big fat cock.
The article itself talks about OneDrive Photos. I'm puzzled why that is not in the title.
