Sauna does solve everything

Pretty sure Finish saunas get hotter than that :)

Temperatures ranging from 350 to 500 degrees F have been applied...with comfort and safety....the extreme heat is hardly noticeable....

From an edmonton newspaper

patients would be placed in the iron lung-like machine and then baked at temperatures typically around 138°C (280°F) but sometimes as high as 204°C (400°F). The sensation was variously described as either quite pleasant or feeling like one was being roasted alive.

People who need a little ice in their hot coffee vs the freaks that ask for it extra hot and sip it immediately

The oven was claimed to help with gastrointestinal issues such as constipation and irritable bowel syndrome... dermal issues such as skin disease, open sores, and ulcers... heart issues such as heart arrhythmia and heart failure... kidney issues, bladder issues, irregular blood pressure, malnutrition, diabetes, obesity, flat feet, hay fever, Bright's disease, edema, tonsillitis, gangrene, pre-eclampsia... lung related issues such as asthma and tuberculosis...

Treats obesity and hay fever. Heart failure and flat feet.

Sounds legit.

Reminds me of a chiropractor brochure

I mean, once you're cooked, none of these is still an issue

if only the leeches could take the heat, they’d have covered all the bases.

Oh look, the machine specifically designed to roast people alive makes people feel like they're being roasted alive, 10/10 no notes

"Oh, Timmy. That's just your father!"

Can't have rheumatism, if you're dead. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Interestingly, cryotherapy exists too you know. Even the extreme variant corresponding to this one exists. You just put people into a -100 °C freezer for a while.
