What I tell my parents and everyone: only subscribe to one or two services at a time. Binge on the stuff you really want to watch. Once the catalog starts looking even slightly 'meh' to you, cancel and jump on a new service. Rinse, repeat.
Cable was expensive, so streaming took off. Streaming companies have consistently jacked up their rates. Now that every entertainment company started their own streaming service and it got to be more expensive than cable, it becomes not a priority for people anymore.
Cable at least consolidated all that shit into one bill.
Ok but are they actually cancelling or just complaining? People love to complain and then take no action.
