You might think because I so obessively share links about the war that I would be cheering for Ukraine to launch a counteroffensive into Crimea as soon as possible, but ask yourself, Is Putin personally and politically capable of domestically justifying a pre-emptive withdrawal from Crimea in order to stem a logistical hemorraghing from trying to resupply it with basic needs at the current rate of attrition? I am not sure he is, so then... what is the rush? This is actually a maximally unsustainable position for russia, if I were a russian general I would want Ukraine to invade Crimea as soon as possible to justify a wise retreat to more defensible positions.
