I don't even get why people feel the need to use Threads and TikTok when we already have Shorts. This desire to be connected to as many evil corporate platforms as possible makes no sense to me. I don't even like using YouTube because Google owns it. So I view it through alternative platforms.

Truth Social is a little further down the street. There are some big large gates surrounded by poor people in uniforms with guns. Some bald white guys are inside, jerking each other off, bellowing at each other, but they all seem to be completely deaf. They’re all sick and dying, but not one of them will take the very obviously labelled medicine, bit of a suspicious lot. If you lie very still for a while between the corpses, I think you’ll find what you’re looking for.
What did Brian even try to say? That he'd rather be an American than Democrat?
Meaning that he's: 1. not American, 2. considers being American an insult, 3. cares enough about American politics to hate Democrats more, even though he hates all Americans already?
- that being American and Democrat are mutually exclusive, almost as if the US government system functions in a way that conflicts with the definition. And I see it.

While funny, any proprietary platform run by US companies allied with trump shares the same set of problems. I don't like that people routinely choose the second worst option and are even proud of not having chosen the literal worst option.
