Mmm, I suspect the orbiting and other views have maybe left a little too much detail in the video. The blurring only works if it's either completely covering the background, or the camera is fixed. The many camera movements here and the blurring keepout zone around the rocket show a good chunk of the scene. It does just look like a random field to me, but experts could maybe start to figure out where this was shot
What I haven't heard about yet is cost. Are these home grown solutions any cheaper than the alternatives?
It's an interceptor (possibly derived from the S-300) being used as a ballistic missile while they figure out how to integrate it with air defense systems. For air defense it's potentially a lot cheaper than the alternatives and produced mostly domestically.
FP-9 is the ranged ballistic missile firepoint is working on. That I think is less about cost and more about not having to ask permission from a foreign government before shooting something.
The S-300 is good platform to start from. They don't have to worry about proprietary technology like the patriot missiles. They can borrow all the best bits and modernize it a bit to make it potentially more effective.
