Pft! I consciously named my kids after TV characters. Bortus isn't happy about it.
It is ok, don't feel badly! Your name obviously means something very special to you. You conjured it, it is yours. No one will likely know where it is from unless you tell them. And you know what? I think your story is cute, and awesome.
My name also grew out of something from long ago, my first female character in Everquest. So when you mentioned starting to think of femme names 16 years ago it really tickled me.
Literature is a solid choice to pull names from. I love nameday stories, thank you so much for sharing yours!
I really just find it hilarious that I picked names from literature twice entirely independently 🤣 proof I'm a book nerd
