So, this is not for me, but for my wife ... long story short, she's never done this before, but has met a nice but very subby lady and wants to try some b/d d/s (but definitely no s/m).

I've tried talking her through, and demonstrating, some basic stuff, but she said it's weird learning from me ... I've given her my old copy of Learning the Ropes, but outside of that everything I've found online seems to just be porn rather than an instruction manual.

Does anyone know of additional resources for this?

How's Fetlife for your local area?

Could be worth looking there for anything of use, or potentially join a group that caters for beginners where your wife could feel less weird about learning?

Non existent, nearest place with stuff going on is about 1.5 hours away ... also, my wife isn't ready for any sort of group like that - this is her first forray into kink and only the second time she's ever taken a second lover.

Yesterday we did manage to have some discussions about basic concepts, though, so she is loosening up :-)

Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.
