The last time I saw my family I was only three months into HRT, and none of them knew at the time. By now most of them probably do, but only my cousins follow me online, so they’re the only ones who’ve actually seen the changes…

Next time I show up it’s going to be less of a catch-up and more a Doakes-style ‘surprise, motherfucker’.

I feel like the dinner is even nicer regardless, because you found a good identity :3

I almost did that going home this past weekend for Easter. (They’re religious, I just like candy and dyeing eggs.) I’m too afraid of how they’re going to react though, so I chickened out. Maybe I’ll get brave enough to tell them before Thanksgiving.

Yeah I did exactly the same thing. Some of my family knows some of them don't and I don't want to deal with that. Maybe I'll get brave enough to tell them all before Thanksgiving.

Every single familiy event i got to i don't wear a bra. Mostly because I don't own one and partly because I like my boobs not being hidden away :3

Jeez I would hope my kids would let me know long before thanksgiving dinner.

I do a lot of gift shopping early and would have so much clothing to return. That would suck.

If you’re a good parent they will feel more comfortable.
