The armed madman who was shot and killed by Secret Service...

Yeah, no. Fuck the New York Post.

[-] rottenmummy@lemmy.ml 39 points 1 week ago

Is it considered mad to be anti pedo?

[-] sleepmode@lemmy.world 15 points 1 week ago

It’s mad to believe anything this shitloid conservative trash rag produces without doing some critical thinking to say the least.

[-] TBi@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago

Yes, if you are pro pedo. (I am not pro pedo…)

[-] SCmSTR 1 points 1 week ago

Nuance, friend.

Obsessed is one way to put it. valid reasons. Outraged by the cover up is a better way

[-] SpicyLizards@reddthat.com 7 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Doing the will of the people... not to mention self-defence and defence of the constitution.

[-] ozymandias@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 week ago

Breaking into mar-a-lago with a shotgun is still crazy unless your plan is to be immediately killed.
You can be obsessed with things you should care about but in an unhealthy way.

[-] MrSelfDestruct25@fedinsfw.app 2 points 1 week ago

Was there an actual gun? I just saw them show a shitty printout of a gun.

[-] ozymandias@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago

Not that I normally trust cops, but I generally believe this...
They probably didn't yell "drop the gun" and wait for him to assume a firing position before killing him though...

The rich really needs to be cleaned up, and dissolved at this point. They'll paint us as the villains in their story, yet we've seen their stories in the Esptein files. So are we really the bad guys for wanting what's right when are laws are failing us in real time?

[-] IronBird@lemmy.world 35 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

probably dumb of me to post this at all, but fuck it got to leave crumbs for the potential fbi agent working my case, is only fair right?

in all honesty the line for me is pretty much already crossed, if progressives don't sweep this upcoming election and actually hold these psychopaths responsible i got a list and i'll just be going down it 1 by 1.

and not some useless replacable politicians either, you have to take out the $ and power brokers pulling stringers behind the scenes...there's no shortage of sellouts to fill trump's spot but someone like say....murdoch, murdoch's daughters want to sell the family business for scrap. only his son wants to continue the family business of pushing hate to the world. take murdoch out and that pillar of propaganda crumbles

[-] murmelade@lemmy.ml 17 points 1 week ago

Godspeed brave martyr. You will be a hero to all human kind.

[-] IronBird@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

nah. i'm not delusional enough to be a martyr, sadly. there's no afterlife waiting for any of us, so i'll be damned sure to not get caught.

[-] floofloof@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 week ago

i’ll be damned sure to not get caught.

By taking precautions like announcing your plans on a public internet forum?

[-] IronBird@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

gotta give yourself some kind of challenge

[-] HasturInYellow@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

You and me both, brother.

The circus we have created are REALLY nice and the bread is quite tasty, but very soon, there will come a time where I will decide that I don't actually care anymore.

[-] FartMaster69@lemmy.dbzer0.com 41 points 1 week ago

It’s scary times when the madman with a gun kinda has a point.

[-] orbituary@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 week ago

A broken clock is right twice a day.

[-] ICastFist@programming.dev 3 points 1 week ago

3 broken clocks missed their fucking shots

[-] GalacticGrapefruit@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

More like a misprinted calendar is right once a year.

From TMZ:

At the same time, Austin was outspoken about his Christian faith and political views. We're told he regularly expressed support for Trump, telling colleagues as recently as late last year he believed Trump was a strong leader.

Dude did "inspirational" paintings of golf courses. Something up with him, wouldn't look too closely for rationality and consistency.

[-] sleepmode@lemmy.world 29 points 1 week ago

Diehard Qanons are coming home to roost. But they won’t say it. They created it. And it’d be admitting they’re wrong.

[-] redsand@infosec.pub 18 points 1 week ago

Funny enough Epstein may have created Q. Epstein met Moot(4chan owner) and drove him home. The /pol/ board was created the next day. Q would appear on /pol/ a couple years later.

[-] RabbitBBQ@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

I think it's more complicated than that... Anonymous as a kind of social movement exited long before QAnon. It was already on 4chan and Something Awful which came before 4chan. Anonymous had ops to go after predators and all kinds of other targets. Lots of the grassroots support merged from the Something Awful forums to 4chan, then all the copycats of 4chan. QAnon was originally a continuation of an anonymous operation to go after abusers. As time went by, this morphed into what was sort of co-opted by Michael Flynn, Epstein, and others to use for political reasons. At first though it really wasn't political. Then the Q persona itself came along and was likely several different people instead of just one person. This follows the whole Anonyous OP getting co-opted. The Epstein Cabal really was going after social media along with other kinds of tech. Ghislaine Maxwell was a Reddit mod. Eventually you get to Ron Watkins, etc... TLDR; QAnon started as an Anonymous operation and then was co-opted for political reasons.

[-] redsand@infosec.pub 3 points 1 week ago

Anonymous back then was almost entirely skids. That operation was a joke. Fun related news though, one of Epstein's hackers was dating Ghislaine's sister. Then he died mysteriously after hacking Epstein's Wikipedia page and botting his google results.

[-] ICastFist@programming.dev 3 points 1 week ago

Anonymous had ops to go after predators and all kinds of other targets.

Kinda ironic since 4chan itself was a haven for CSAM in the 00's

[-] shads@lemy.lol 14 points 1 week ago

Ooops made a mistake, read the comments under the article. How is there such a vocal group who live in their own manufactured reality and don't let anything dent the facade?

[-] SapphironZA@sh.itjust.works 15 points 1 week ago

At this point, its all bots.

[-] Chozo@fedia.io 11 points 1 week ago

While it may be comforting to believe that, the bitter truth is that there are a lot of people who are genuinely just straight-up ghouls, and don't care who knows it.

[-] Schmuppes@lemmy.today 7 points 1 week ago

I stopped at "AP is one of the worse biased news outlets. I believe they were even banned from press briefings, so I wouldn't trust anything coming from them". Oof.

[-] shads@lemy.lol 1 points 1 week ago

Can I be honest, it looked like corporate news media slop so I kinda visually keyword scanned it, wound up in the comments section when I pressed the button by accident scrolling. I read very little of the article itself.

[-] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago

I mean I think everyone paying attention is obsessed with them at this point.

[-] Wilco@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 week ago

Yea, I was going to say that.

People are weird if they are not obsessed. The world is being run by literal rapists and pedophiles.

This is an undisputed fact.

[-] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 7 points 1 week ago

the distraction wont be like the first 3 times it happened trump.

[-] Formfiller@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Kid did more than the fbi to try to stop a pedofile child murder. RIP
