I don't think that that's the sort of roof that has shingles ....
If you look at the roof, in the image, you will see that there are sort of overlapping pieces of flat wood. In the Land of My People, we refer to these as "shingles".
I just expect an old stone cottage to have slate tiles.
Or better still, thatching.
But it's fully furnished! Including an oven that may or may not been used to cook children in. Also a canning room with jars of either poison or healing salves, up to you to find out!
