I have been noticing the increased anger with people's posts online, myself included. I just said yesterday that it feels like a tipping point and it's not gonna take much to start the riots. I just listened to a US politician on LBC radio trying to defend the ICE action. He claimed to have watched the video 20 times and said it was clear the driver was trying to run over the agent. I've just watched it and it's clear the front wheels were turned well to the right avoiding the agent who walk across the front of the vehicle. If anything the driver was deliberately avoiding the agent.

Federal authorities say an ICE agent, “fearing for his life” killed a woman during a confrontation Wednesday in south Minneapolis.

City officials are expected to speak at 12:15 p.m.

The ICE statement says, in part:

“Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism.

“An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots.

“He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers.

“The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. Thankfully, the ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries.”

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, saying, “While for the safety of our officers we do not get into law enforcement footprint, DHS has surged law enforcement and has already made more than 1,000 arrests of murderers, rapists, pedophiles and gang members.” Hmm, I await the specific charges, outcome of the trials against these criminals. And note that this group is probably far less likely to be "murderers, rapists, and pedophiles" than the current Executive Branch of the US. Perhaps Secy McLaughlin will clarify this matter for us.
