Well, first off this week's my birthday week, secondly I'm able to play with chalk again now that I got some hairspray for fixative coming in (I missed that medium).

I drew these during that chalk play session.

They're currently sitting in empty spaces on a rack waiting to get fixed down with the aforementioned hairspray.

What always makes me smile is getting to the top of a hill while I'm driving somewhere and seeing either the Black Forest, the Rhine Valley, the Jura, the Alps or the Vosgues, depending on where I'm going. Even just driving to the supermarket gives me Vosgues or Black Forest.

It was a somewhat stuppid meme idea i had. I have started working on sputtering machines, and if they are working fine, with relatively low levels of depositions and regular cleaning - all things inside turn rainbow (well reason for this is structural color - think oil on water where varying thickness and reflections and their interference produces various colors. everything means everything). The idea i had was something in lines of

image text - damn those libs! they even turned my sputtering machine gay (cause rainbow is pride flag thing). this would be over on a image of inside of the sputtering chamber.

I ended up not doing so because rethinking made it less funny for me, i did not know how many people would get sputtering machine and structural colors or would think it is edited or something.
