I feel like this might be the deciding factor as to whether or not there is a civil war.

There are enough LGBTQ people in America that if they delegitimize their right to marriage, that they only recently won, that it could spark off an entire modern American revolution.

I doubt it. We will get used to it, AS WELL. I don't think your perception of the dynamics here is accurate, and I say this with all due respect.

I can not exhaustively prove it RN though. There are so many other issues that you could say they are value strongholds and all of them are now rolled back, and nothing happened. Abortion. Racist stormtroopers. Epstein coverup. Trans genocide.

Suggesting that marriage equality is more central than all these to a critical mass of people to start a civil war over it is absurd. For as long as I remember myself the narrative was that they would start it if "gay marriage" were to become a thing. We are now living it. Suggesting otherwise, reversing the roles, is something that even if not done deliberately, is quite a problem.

In an attempt to be constructive, I suggest a book: On Tyranny. It might provide some perspective.

Well, the reason why I say that is the No Kings March was about 7 million people, and as is parroted by racist dog whistlers and assholes, it only takes about 3.5% of the population to destabilize the government.

3.5% of America would be something like 9 and a half million people. I'm probably off on that a little bit, but somewhere in that neck of the range. So we're getting close.

You just suddenly randomly go in and take away a right from millions of Americans for no fucking reason whatsoever? That has a chance of being enough to push us over the limit, which is where my prediction comes from.
