Politicians have been gaslighting us about this for years while insider trading and taking shady money from lobbyists. Just because line going up doesn’t mean shit to the overwhelming majority of us. The fact is it’s just a reflection of the blood money being squeezed out of our families future so that every last resource gets funneled up to the insatiable shareholders.
I agree that people should have voted against this but we really need accountable representatives. I don’t think we’re going to get that until the pitchforks come out.
