If i remember correctly the whole point of the drink can mods was an "in plan sight" suppressor.
Check the documentation, but I’m 95% sure it’s just for looks. Aluminum that thin wouldn’t do much. It’s only a .22 as well, virtually no .22 cans need reinforcement. I know for a fact the FTN series .22 version does not need reinforcement for example.
