You can make a cheap bullet trap with a Home Depot 5 gallon bucket and rubber mulch. It will stop small calibers and give you something safe to shoot at. As far as reducing noise I’ve just used an FTN and subsonic ammo. Not perfect but it helps. Let me know if you come up with anything interesting.

Anything by Pla+boii is a safe bet. Dude was the goat of 3dp suppressor designers. FTN.4 is the most recent design iteration, but don’t forget about the EZ lineup which features similar designs but easier to build.

How important is the redbull can to the structural integrity of the redbull22 by Pla+boii? Is it like the FTN series where it provides some serious structural support to resist blowing up, or is it strictly cosmetic in this case? Thinking about printing one but want to test without a redbull can on it.

Dude, seriously, thank you for this. We really needed a place of our own to talk openly about our hobby and honestly it was just a matter of time before reddit gave us the boot. This forum format is leagues better than Discord, which makes it hard to find answers to questions asked some time ago. I know we lost a treasure trove of information and a lot of fosscad history with r/fosscad being deleted but hopefully we can rebuild it here.
