I like asking these types of Nationalist Christians (Nat-C's if you like) to show me in the Bible where it says to do the things they're doing.
9/10 times I've read more of the Bible than they have, simply due to me reading the whole thing at least 3 times in my life, front to back. Most Christians haven't read an entire book, let alone the whole thing. They just get their cherry-picked feel-good verses on Sunday and that's it.
So usually I can bring up more verses that say something different than they're claiming, or giving context that shows their interpretation to be wrong.
My absolute favorite is when they say homosexuality is wrong. Why? Because leviticus says "you shouldn't sleep with me as you would a woman", therefore it's a sin! Oh wait you mean that 1: the oldest copies we have use words in a language that means "young boys" or "apprentices" and not "men"? And therefore mean don't fuck children? 2: You mean that the word "Homosexual" didn't appear IN ANY copy until the mid 1900s? When world wars were putting a dent into populations and being anything other than a straight child-producing married couple meant you were vilified? And you ALSO mean to tell me that leviticus is giving instructions for Jewish priests on how to behave, and not the everyday person anyway?
Oh and by the way abortion: Numbers 5, selling your daughter: exodus 21, the 13th Ammendment is against your God and his book: leviticus 25, if you spoke ill of Biden or Obama, you sinned: ephesians 6, you BETTER not be wearing blended cloth: leviticus 19, and a personal favorite, the Bible is pornographic: Ezekiel 23.
