I mean, God’s fine with taking slaves (as long as they’re not Jewish), having bears rip apart kids that laugh at his priests, and dashing babies’ heads against rocks, so he might be fine with all that stuff too.

Jesus probably wouldn’t have been okay with it though.

There's the core truth that causes so many of the issues. Everyone internalises God/god/Allah/Flying Spaghetti Monster differently to push their own viewpoint.
