Yo Dawg, I heard you like merging. ..

[-] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 32 points 1 month ago

Ok, obviously merging while you merge is super dangerous. Almost as dangerous as using light mode on your phone. The rider should've known he was a sociopath just from that.

[-] BJ_and_the_bear@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

Hey, I prefer light mode. There are dozens of us!

[-] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 15 points 1 month ago

I’m not sure if that is impressive or terrifying.

[-] fckreddit@lemmy.ml 12 points 1 month ago

Outside this community: someone who programs computers.

In this community: no one has any fucking idea how to answer that.

My wife had a labmate in grad school submit a paper on a comedy robot, and a reviewer noted "the authors mention humor several times but never define the concept."

It's one of four liquids, sometimes vapors, that humans have to keep in balance or else they get black bileosis

Somebody tell that dude that having a "bus factor" doesn't mean you should actively seek getting run over by a bus!

He's checking in code for FSD.

[-] outerspace@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 month ago

This is a concept known as CAC (configuration as code) - the driver made changes to the route, making the change visible, reversible, safe, auditable and testable. It's also great for the PRs merged per day metric!

"I swear this shit only happens in SF"

He says it like that's a good thing?

[-] Gladaed@feddit.org 8 points 1 month ago
