Sounds like a stereotype to me. Tennis tickets are usually less expensive than football or basketball matches in my experience.
The article keeps saying that the stadium wasn't that full. But the more it filled up, the worse it got. He stiffened when he started to hear it and then went back in not too long after. The flag being booed during the national anthem is also interesting.
