It got removed over "consistency" concerns time to make every single cross walk rainbow, you know, for consistency.

Wonder if the site could support a pedestrian bridge? Say one with a very particular shape and coloration. 🌈

Sadly it'd probably require state approval if it's a state road.

We have one like that already, and the Support pillars have lights that rotate through the rainbow

But, you know, another wouldn’t hurt. And the city is perfectly capable of building a structure like that over which the state has no control. In fact, that’s why that one pedestrian bridge still has the rainbow lights in the first place.
