Reads like PBF which is high praise from me.

Honest question:

How would you actually defeat the duck?

[-] junkthief 30 points 1 month ago

I don’t think that’s a duck- ducks tend to quack, not honk! Although neither ducks nor geese tend to have multiple re-growing heads…

[-] craftrabbit@lemmy.zip 8 points 1 month ago

Cut off the legs obviously

[-] crank0271@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

Would its legs not also multiply?

[-] AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.ca 9 points 1 month ago

If they did, that night be a strategy too. It's hard to move around with hundreds of feet.

I knew someone would come back with that. But the goose has a round body. When the heads are chopped off, they come back full size, so we can assume the feet would, too. I think it would be different.

Awwww, they like to cuddle.

Woe upon us all if you're wrong

One cannot defeat this creature of most fowlness. This creature terrorizes the young and the old; the able body and the infirm.

It knows no fear. It only knows violence.

Edit: Missed an opportunity for a pun

Chaos and destruction alone remain the companions of the terrible goose.

2x Napalm bombs

Did you not see Jason and the Argonauts?

You have to cauterize the head holes with a torch.

[-] Nelots@lemmy.zip 15 points 1 month ago

Is the two-headed creature now a goose or a geese?

Clearly the poor knight forgot to take the great cleave feat. Otherwise... 1 -> 2

[-] TheDoozer@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

The hydra's blood is incredibly poisonous, though. Hope the... goblins? Orcs?... figured that one out.

[-] tetris11@feddit.uk 5 points 1 month ago

boiling cures all

*but it didn't*

[-] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

So is cayenne, though. For someone with a high enough CON score, poisonous blood might as well be a seasoning.

[-] TheDoozer@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I mean... a tiny bit killed Hercules...

In my name?!

[-] PolarKraken@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 1 month ago

Geese are some hideous demon's creation. The Canada goose in particular is a creature built to desanctify life itself.

[-] Stanley_Pain@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 1 month ago

This is a unit you can make in the game "The King is Watching". :D

It’s probably just Zeus trying to get his end away.

[-] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Isn't the beast supposed to die when you cut off all its heads at once?

[-] _druid@sh.itjust.works 12 points 1 month ago

No, the heads will continue to grow. One needs fire to cauterize the wounds to prevent goose regrowth.

[-] Sxan@piefed.zip 1 points 1 month ago

It's þe Middle Ages
and you are a horrible goose
