“Daily” statements by former President Donald Trump “threaten to prejudice the jury pool” in the federal case where he is charged with crimes related to trying to reverse his loss in the 2020 election, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Prosecutors made that claim as they pushed back on a call by Trump’s lawyers to allow a three-week briefing process for Judge Tanya Chutkan to decide whether “every ordinary” court filing that refers to sensitive materials should be placed on the court’s public docket.

You can see the world class legal work coming from Smiths office and the hastily thrown together mess of a response from Trumps 8th string legal team. Jack Smith follows established legal protocol. They fire back saying he can’t do that because he never asked them. He responds we did Fucking ask you and we made sure the judge was aware. The judge has to once again waste more time so these shit dicks can try to technicality their way to a victory.

And what’s so frustrating is that really Smith and Chutkan can make zero mistakes but we are expected to tolerate the ravings of a psychotic maniac and the absolute piss poor legal decisions of his lawyers. If there’s even one fuck up they can appeal it to hell and get him off.

Put this man on trial. Show that he is a fucking criminal. Send his ass to jail. Just this once, the planets need to align and these people we have trusted with the duty of enforcing our laws need to get the job done.

They want to draw things out as long as possible, hope Trump wins the election, and then argue that he can't be convicted as a sitting President. If he loses the election and can't trigger a successful coup to instate him as Dear Leader he'll be Trumping his pants over any court cases that haven't resolved at that point.

it’s worth noting that we should be reminded of the rosenbergs if you want to see what should and used to be done to those who sold state secrets. and those weren’t state secrets that led to unprecedented amounts of CIA assets being killed.

if it wouldn’t turn his dumb ass into a martyr by his followers, i’d say he should meet the same fate the rosenbergs had.

as it is, with how hard he fucked over the CIA, i won’t be surprised if he suddenly has a heart attack or disappears years down the line.

If he suddenly has a heart attack, I doubt many would suspect the CIA, even if they were involved. The guy seemingly has no regard for his own health.

Oh no, all the MAGA people will never believe it's Trump's own fault. It would have to be murder and then Trump's a martyr.

My most sincere hope is that he survives 5 or 10 years of misery and humiliation in a supermax.

Are you going to actually do something about it? No? Then shut the fuck up, because he's not going to stop. As long as your answer to "What are you going to do about it?" continues to be "Nothing" in practice, he is going to continue to do this. So either do something about it or expect it to get worse. He's not going to shut up on his own, no matter how much legal advice he's given.

She should move his court date up a week and see if he wants to say anything...
