It's colonialist nonsense to assert than any human subpopulation is more of a "throwback" or "time capsule" than any other. Evolution never stops, anywhere. An isolated population can differ from the main population, but that doesn't make it more evolutionarily advanced or primitive. Those are loaded words and, from the perspective of evolutionary theory, meaningless.
