"It's his job as Prime Minister to suck fascist knob!"

I'm starting to think all British people are just natural sub pigs.

I understand a national leader having to say such things to appease the giant orange toddler, but I sincerely hope that's not a genuine personal belief.

Would like to know how Starmer really calls him in his private conversations.

Given his recent actions, he’s pretty right wing.

Gosh, how strange. I expected him to say, 'He's a total cunt and I'm only pretending to like him because it's part of my job'.

This guy also says Jeremy corbyn is an anti-semite. We already knew he was a liar and all round cunt... Now you do too!

I believe him. The lunatic torries of the last ten years allowed Labour to move even further to the right, and now you have a labour PM who is about to destroy health car and bring other libertarian goals to the table.

do you think advancing your politics in a sub of which you are now a moderator is the best idea ?

[-] frankPodmore@slrpnk.net 3 points 1 week ago

Yes, everyone here trembles under my tyrannical rule. I try not to let it go to my head.

Agree with Trump on points is one thing, but like and respect?? I never expected to see those two words linked to Trump without negation. Good thing we had brexit for the next thing Keir says could be that he believes Trump and trust his words.

"Like and respect" means that he sees ways that he himself can benefit. And perhaps that he actually agrees with the insane ideas, but self-benefit is always there regardless.

Or, maybe he is being civil for the sake of the nation.

Last thing anyone in the UK needs right now is the orange toddler turning his gaze on the country and demanding mental things.

[-] jaggedrobotpubes@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

Everybody needs to shit on him all the time, everywhere, and then gang up on him when he goes after anybody.

He is weirdly the one who can unite us 🤔

General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

!ukpolitics@lemm.ee appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(
