Summary

Minnesota Republican state Sen. Justin Eichorn, who introduced a bill classifying "Trump Derangement Syndrome" as a mental illness, was arrested for allegedly soliciting sex from a minor.

Police say Eichorn believed he was meeting a 16-year-old girl but was actually texting undercover officers. His arrest came just a day after he and four other Republican senators introduced the controversial bill.

Eichorn, who is married with four children, was booked into jail and will be transferred to the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center.

You can't make this shit up.

[-] aceshigh@lemmy.world 9 points 3 hours ago

I wonder if this was on purpose… word gets around in those circles. People know each other.

no, you can. they're all pedophiles. every single one.

[-] bhamlin@lemmy.world 3 points 3 hours ago

You can, but no one would be interested because "it's just not realistic." This is almost entirely a meme at this point.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 27 points 5 hours ago

I wonder how long before the fake org called "doge" seeks to defund any police anywhere that are catching pedos, because it is probably just "waste, fraud and abuse" to bust what are probably mostly qons.

Hopefully it's done by the states, so they can't defend it.

Bloomington Police Department jail

It seems like its not federal. Minnosota Board of Pardons have zero republicans, one is Governor Tim Walz, the other is a Minnesota Supreme Court justice appointed by Tim Walz, and the Attorney General of Minnesota, who is a DFL member, so he has near zero chance of getting a pardon.

Bloomington is a city in the Twin Cities metro. They're local cops.

[-] IDKWhatUsernametoPutHereLolol@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 49 minutes ago)

Prosecutions that aren't federal are done by the state. Cities cannot prosecute. The district attorney who prosecutes does so in the name of the state, even if the district attorney is elected by the city. Mayors cannot pardon.

And if the DA drops a case without justificstion, the State Attorney General could pick up the prosecution.

Trump and Epstei- oh wait…

[-] KingJalopy@lemm.ee 1 points 2 hours ago

dude how often do you even see them in a room together?

[-] KingJalopy@lemm.ee 1 points 2 hours ago

My bad I totally meant trump and musk but they're all so fucking greasy and gross you can just lump them all in together. Ball of swine and whatnot.

that's very fair. telling fascists apart can be a problem.

Every accusation is a confession. The qons accuse normal Americans of having "derangement syndrome", meanwhile it is quite clear the magamaniacs are the ones with derangement.

[-] drunkpostdisaster@lemmy.world 6 points 4 hours ago

If you are a public figure why would you risk this? I am not confident, but I am pretty sure there was some mid teir Diddy or Epstien he could have talk to.

Whatever. Not surprised, hope he spends the rest of his life in jail.

[-] Retropunk64@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

Their God emperor Krasnov once said he could shoot someone in the middle of fifth avenue and not lose a vote, and they want to be just like him when they grow up.

[-] melpomenesclevage@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

you don't understand power, fascists, or pedophiles. but I repeat myself.

The onion is going to have a hard time with this new competition, Clown world.

More catfishing, more stings like this, more receipts. Great way to start taking them down.

[-] samus12345@lemm.ee 10 points 6 hours ago

Good thing this is usually covered by state law enforcement. Federal wouldn't do shit.

Really… is anyone actually shocked?

I'm kinda shocked the cops arrested one of their own, yeah.

[-] Retropunk64@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

The comedic timing there was GOLD.

[-] Tezzerets_Tea_Time@lemmy.world 96 points 9 hours ago

So many fucking pedophiles in the conservative ranks. Gaslight. Obstruct. Project.

[-] Allonzee@lemmy.world 30 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago)

Modern conservatives lack the creativity to imagine plausible damning accusations.

They must draw from life.

When they hilariously try, we get "Jewish space lasers" and "pizza parlor child fight club rings."

Then they get angry that basically every creative and artistic field is dominated specifically by not them. When they get handed a budget to attempt creativity, we get preachfest garbage like "God's not dead 23" that spends 2 hours basically turning to the camera lecturing viewers about conservative grievances in the form of repetitive gotcha strawman scenarios like it's Festivus.

That's the problem with only hating, with only negativity, with only being against change. It's like trying to grow a flower by watering it with vinegar.

This is fucking hilarious. What a twisted fuck. He's deranged in multiple ways, and probably a lot more we don't know about. Probably beats his wife and kids, and kicks his dog. Probably head of the HOA, too.

I hope his worst colleagues in prison have lots of fun with him.

[-] Chip_Rat@lemmy.world 6 points 3 hours ago

We all hate this guy, don't get me wrong, but making disgusting claims like that just lowers us to their level.

You can be a pedophile without being an HOA president.

[-] barneypiccolo@lemm.ee 1 points 2 hours ago

More importantly, if you are guilty of any of those things, you are almost certainly a Republican.
