Stop labeling Canada as a future member of the EU. It will never happen. The canadian population do not know that they will lose many things, such as their own currency. They just know that the EU is a free trade zone and a defense partnership.

They have to work to fulfill all requirements to adopt the Euro. Juncker in 17 βI have no intention of forcing countries to join the euro if they are not willing or not able to do soβ. He softened the politics about the currency. There will be a President of the European Commission who will not be so kind and soft. Ursula von der Leyen did not talk about this politics at all.

I mean I agree to boycott big business, especially big tech and everything owned by billionaires. It's just that a lot of European brands are owned by billionaires too who are just as bad, they just didn't explicitly get handed the keys to the government (yet).
I see your point, however, imo, buyers in EU can signal (with their purchases) that Trump's words/actions have real (financial) consequences, and then those EU/US billionaires (who are benefiting from cross continent trade) would pressure him to stop doing what he is doing...

You've absolutely got a point about billionaires. None of them should be trusted. But right now the biggest threat are the billionaires controlling social media + tech, which are predominantly US based.
