Oh Donnie, you're gonna make him a martyr, aren't you, you stupid fuck?

[-] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 37 points 2 days ago

He's happy enough to create a whole hill of martyrs. Just ask any Gaza Refugee. Republicans love killing people.

If you're not making me money, you should die. -Trump

Republicans love killing people

Where've you been the last 2 years? Democrats have helped kill a shit ton of Palestinians too. They are refugees because of liberal action.

Um i can agree that the democrats are fucking terrible but…. Like read the room a little? You just what about-ism’d to a party not currently in power in a situation where the republicans are actively killing peoples

He literally has no authority to just say you have to put him to death does he? I mean, not that that necessarily matters in this world but like for my own sanity

I would vote not guilty no matter what. People who shoot up schools or public places instead of board rooms make no sense to me. Billionaires are evil monsters - full stop.

For science, here's the fund if you're curious...

Just in case any Americans need to hear it:

You may not necessarily want to donate to this fundraiser, depending on your future plans. You will almost certainly face increased monitoring after donating and you may want to remain low-profile in a fascist US.

Fuck that noise. We need to stand up to tyranny. They need to know that we won't just sit back while they steal our liberties. Go hide if you want.

I was moreso referring to people who either plan to be able to flee the country or who plan on doing some "legal-if-jury-nullification" actions themselves.

After all, none of the small German resistance during the nazi era would've been able to do anything had their identities been known to the regime. The same applies to guerilla warfare against far more powerful enemies. Remaining low profile allows for dealing the most damage possible.

Being loud and public only works for democracies, not for fascist dictatorships.

It's going to be hard enough for them to find 12 impartial jurors that can come to a unanimous decision about the death of the CEO of one of the largest companies in the most hated industries. The chance of finding 12 that also are willing to consider the death penalty even being an option will be impossible.

For many, the death penalty even being asked for will make them more sympathetic to Luigi's defense.

[-] Mirshe@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

They'll just bribe the jurors. The DOJ won't care, because where are you gonna appeal? The SC that only gives a shit about lining their own pockets?
