How about we ghost it until it becomes irrelevant instead.
How about just STOP TALKING ABOUT IT.
you don't need to yell
No need to be sour about it.
no need to make fun of people's names
He deadnames his own child, and yet gets butthurt when the internet deadnames his company. I feel like just “Twitter” is the biggest insult we could collectively give to him as a person, in this context.
Exactly. This. Twitter. That's it. Melon Husk doesn't get a say, he ought to be ignored completely by everyone.
I've been calling it Xitter. The X is pronounced "sh."
I like the sass, but do people know what you’re talking about in spoken conversation?
You think the people posting snarky shit on the internet are engaging in spoken conversation with other humans? I promise we're not.
Call it nothing and let it die
Could just stop talking about it all together.
I feel like it'll piss off the shitbag more if no one calls it X, so, that's what I'm going with
I like Xitter. Kinda like shitter if you pretend it's like a Chinese x sound
Oooor how bout we just fucking stop talking about and using Twitter
[I don't think about you at all meme]
I'll just keep referring it to as Twitter if I ever need to talk about it.
Corporations don’t get to have deadnames
I've been calling it 10
Play it cool. Nobody's going to know you're a time traveling Roman
"Hey guys, did you see what's trending on 10?"
Just call it Twitter since Elon doesn't believe in calling people by their names
It’s twitter and always will be twitter until dick bag fully runs it into the ground.
I prefer Xitter, but to make it more apparent what the pronunciation is I spell it out more phonetically as "shitter".
I just don’t talk about the name change, pretty similar to how I’ve barely given twitter notice for the past decade
I mean, I just still call it Twitter. Probably will until the end of it.
Which hopefully comes soon
The ~~artist formerly known as Prince~~ platform formerly known as Twitter.
Who wouldn't know what you were talking about if you just called it Twitter?
Don't cater to the whims of billionaires. Not even a little.
I'm cool with just never calling it.
Yeah I think twitter is fine. Plus it might drive the rat king out of his marbles.
I think we should call it "Ten".
Keep calling it Twitter but add @Deprecated so future users know to avoid it?
I mean, it still is Twitter. That's the URL that people use to access the site. Tbh I have no idea if Musk actually went through the effort of changing the company name in the business licensing or other company paperwork. Just the logo and header seem to say X. But I agree, I'm getting so annoyed with journalists calling it "the site formerly known as Twitter." so dumb.
𝕏 sounds stupid so I say it, its old brand was something it currently does not deserve
imagine being an 𝕏 user 𝕏ing on their 𝕏 and re𝕏ing other people's 𝕏es
Playing into it and calling it X does actually reduce the effectiveness of twitter's branding. Just call it X, let people be confused, and let that kill the fun so they will just move on already.
Just call it X. If nobody understands what you are talking about, consider it a positive.
Anything is fine as long as we call tweets xcrements
I call it xruth social
I call it: "The thing formerly known as twitter".
It's short and concise, without using the actual stupid name, meaning not advertising "The thing formerly known as twitter".
$8chan.
Or twitter, for short
I prefer "site formerly know as twitter" most
or just leave that shit hole platform and stop talking about it
I’m still sticking with calling it “Y”
