The forced move is baffling, especially to .world of all places

[-] TxzK@lemmy.zip 21 points 11 months ago

Yeah .world sucks. probably the worst instance after the tankie ones.

[-] codexarcanum@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 11 months ago

So what happened at Blahaj?

[-] Cassa 25 points 11 months ago

Mods didn't like the instance owner enforcing the instance rules on "their" community

[-] lugal@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 11 months ago

Which rules were a problem?

[-] NinjaFox 17 points 11 months ago

Transphobia and actually moderating reports. They never checked the blahaj.zone instance reports and left the admins to deal with them, then complained about how they were dealt with

[-] PeachyMcPeachface@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

This is just blatantly false. Not sure where Ada is getting this. I was on every day. We never had reports older than 2 days. Anytime we got a "reports are piling up" from Ada we had like 3 reports from the same day that were a few hours old.

I feel like someone should mention this because it's a conflict of interest; Kolanaki was banned from blahaj.

Not exactly unbiased in their complaining.

Nothing, then the mods locked it

[-] Akuji@leminal.space 39 points 11 months ago

Next time they'll move back to reddit, just you wait 🤣

The previous programmer on my project.

At one point I had a team member nicknamed John Wayne, because no shit would stick to them.

[-] nifty@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago

People can do what they want, the only problem with .world is not enough niche communities and sometimes too much political content. Other than that, I don’t care. It has the most content turnover than other instances, so that’s less depressing.

Report bigotry and downvote/block trolls or assholes.
