Summary

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz dismissed Elon Musk's personal insults but expressed deep concern over Musk's public endorsement of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.

The AfD, monitored for ties to right-wing extremism, supports pro-Russia policies and weakening transatlantic alliances.

Musk's endorsement, published in a German newspaper, sparked backlash, including the resignation of the paper’s opinion editor.

Scholz, facing a February election after his coalition government collapsed, criticized Musk’s interference, as AfD gains popularity despite other parties refusing to cooperate with them.

And here comes the leopard face eating. I warned everyone but nobody believed me that that the us would influence european politics so much. But why wouldnt it. I dont understand people. They also bring up how the us has a solid constitution that cant be changed like hungary(my home country) so the same degridation of democracy wont happen but trump already changed the constitution before getting into office so thats already fucked. I know technically its not changing the text it self but youre changing how to read it so meaning changes as well.

Insults are like whiskey, they only affect one if one partakes of them. Backing the AfD, with the resources he can bring could topple a government. Just look at the US, we're teetering.

We're getting to a point where I would get angry if anyone I knew would buy a Tesla.

I assume anyone who owns a Tesla is a Nazi until proven otherwise. With how dangerous those cars are, it's for the better anyway

Musk's backing is one more reason to ban the AFD!
